We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Recruitment Specialist (Title 5) to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to hiring managers and supervisors, facilitating a smooth recruitment and placement process for AGR Personnel. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Advising on recruitment actions and helping identify appropriate qualification standards.
- Developing position announcements and creating candidate evaluation criteria.
- Locating and evaluating applicants to ensure their eligibility for available positions.
- Accumulatively analyzing recruitment statistics such as turnover and hiring lag times to improve recruitment strategies.
- Collaborating on long-range planning for organizational changes.
- Providing technical guidance on performance management and incentive programs.
- Coaching and counseling on performance issues and assisting with recognition efforts.
- Administering the Incentive Awards Program to acknowledge employee contributions.
- Processing personnel actions through an automated system, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Researching and determining the basis for classification requests and related manpower changes.
- Creating new position descriptions and ensuring proper coordination with the National Guard Bureau.
- Maintaining documentation related to merit placements and Priority Placement Lists.
- Initiating recruitment actions, establishing legal authorities, and certifying pay rates in accordance with federal regulations.
- Responding to inquiries and providing exceptional customer service regarding personnel matters.
