Pastry Chef and Baker

Overview

We are seeking a Full Time Shift 1:00 AM to 9:00 AM to dedicated and enthusiastic Bakery Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and an eagerness to provide exceptional customer service. As a Bakery Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring our bakery operates smoothly, from food preparation to customer interactions. This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have an interest in the culinary arts.

Duties

• Assist with food preparation tasks, including baking, decorating, and packaging baked goods.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area, adhering to food safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering questions about products.
• Handle food items safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all health regulations.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and knives with care and precision.
• Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies as needed and monitoring product freshness.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely production of baked goods for catering orders and special events.

Experience

• Previous experience in the food industry or kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
• Skills in pastry preparation or cake decorating are a plus.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with customers.
