Shipping and Receiving Specialist

The ideal candidate will possess warehouse knowledge, hands-on experience following instructions, and familiarity with warehouse equipment. What's an average day like as a Shipping and Receiving Specialist?

• Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, ensuring safety and efficiency
• Assist with testing staging and pulling inventory
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floor, ensuring compliance with safety protocols
• Conduct quality inspections on assembled products to meet specified standards
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets while adhering to safety guidelines
• Document production activities accurately and report any issues or discrepancies promptly
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing productivity and reducing waste

What do we look for in a Shipping and Receiving Specialist?

• 1-2 years minimum of working within a warehouse setting
• Demonstrated warehouse knowledge related to staging processes and equipment operation
• Hands-on experience with warehouse operations and inventory handling
• Strong understanding of safety procedures in a manufacturing setting
• Previous experience using warehouse management software is a plus
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
