CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

You must have 1 years of veterinary assistant experience. You must be able to lift 40 pounds and be able to keep up with our active schedule. You should be comfortable restraining both dogs and cats.

You are a detailed orientated person, who loves procedures as well as accurate logs and patient records.

You will ensure all pets are cared while and monitored while under anesthetic procedures.

Cleaning and animal husbandry is important to you, ensuring our patients health and wellbeing are invaluable.

Lastly, you will fit in with our wonderful team and uphold our values.

ABOUT US:

Established in 1949, we are the longest standing veterinary hospital in Meridian where we began with dairy farms in the area. We have since transitioned from the rural lifestyle to urban life with companion animals. We are a busy small animal hospital that is run by a team of 21 members that includes four doctors, two full time and two part time. Our doctors come with a wealth of knowledge and experience each having at least 25 years of experience. We provide comprehensive medical care to our patients, everything from routine vaccinations to orthopedic surgery, to dental and soft tissue surgery. We are open Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 6:00pm, and operate a vaccination clinic on the third Saturday of the month. We are closed on Sundays and major holidays.

Our overall goal is to build bonds and relationships with our clients, their pets and our fellow teammates. We are continually working to build each other up by being grateful for each other, growing with both ourselves and each other and extending grace for both ourselves and each other.

JOB DUTIES:
