Respiratory Therapy Technician Location: St. Louis, MO Agency: Concentric Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title Travel: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Nights Location Saint Louis, MO Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | 3x12 (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM) | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | 13-Week Assignment Key Responsibilities Provide respiratory therapy services across multiple areas of the hospital including SICU, CCU, CVICU, ED, Neuro, and Trauma units Operate and manage ventilators and high-flow respiratory equipment including Avea ventilators, LTV transport vents, V60 BiPAP, Vapotherm, and Airvo devices Perform and interpret arterial blood gas draws and processing Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a high-volume, fast-paced environment including a Level 2 Trauma Center Stabilize and support pediatric patients in the ED as needed prior to transfer Adhere to weekend, call, and float requirements as directed by the facility Required Qualifications Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required Active licensure with the Missouri Board for Respiratory Care BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) only Minimum 1 year of experience in adult critical care and high-volume ED with Trauma experience Flu vaccination or facility-approved exemption required (November 1 - April 1); declinations are not accepted Must wear black scrubs per facility dress code standards Preferred Experience / Skills PALS certification preferred Experience with arterial blood gas draws, processing on GEM analyzers, and blood gas interpretation Familiarity with EPIC EMR system Why Join Us Work at a nationally recognized facility housing a Level 2 Trauma Center, a Joint Commission Comprehensive Stroke Center, and a Level 1 STEMI Center Gain diverse clinical exposure treating respiratory patients across critical care, cardiovascular, neurological, and trauma service lines in a large, licensed hospital
