Job Summary:
- We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused IT Helpdesk Support Admin/ Receptionist to be the first point of contact for users experiencing technical issues.
- In this role, you will handle incoming phone calls, create helpdesk tickets, and ensure users are directed to the appropriate support personnel.
- You will play a key role in maintaining excellent communication and service standards within the IT department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer inbound helpdesk calls and respond professionally to user inquiries.
- Create support tickets using Zoho Desk.
- Managing certain e-mail accounts, routing e-mails to appropriate departments, and creating service tickets as needed
- Log detailed and accurate information regarding user issues or requests.
- Escalate urgent or unresolved tickets to the appropriate IT staff.
- Monitor helpdesk queues and follow up on outstanding tickets.
- Maintain confidentiality and data security protocols.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a customer service, call center, or helpdesk environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced setting.
- Familiarity with IT terminology and common technical issues.
- Basic proficiency with CRM ticketing systems.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Willingness to work on a rotating weekend support schedule.
