***This is a TEMPORARY POSITION, APPROX. 3 MONTHS, 40+ hour/week position. It will be onsite in Fort Lauderdale, FL, Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5pm. Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused IT Helpdesk Support Admin/ Receptionist to be the first point of contact for users experiencing technical issues.
  • In this role, you will handle incoming phone calls, create helpdesk tickets, and ensure users are directed to the appropriate support personnel.
  • You will play a key role in maintaining excellent communication and service standards within the IT department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer inbound helpdesk calls and respond professionally to user inquiries.
  • Create support tickets using Zoho Desk.
  • Managing certain e-mail accounts, routing e-mails to appropriate departments, and creating service tickets as needed
  • Log detailed and accurate information regarding user issues or requests.
  • Escalate urgent or unresolved tickets to the appropriate IT staff.
  • Monitor helpdesk queues and follow up on outstanding tickets.
  • Maintain confidentiality and data security protocols.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a customer service, call center, or helpdesk environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced setting.
  • Familiarity with IT terminology and common technical issues.
  • Basic proficiency with CRM ticketing systems.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Willingness to work on a rotating weekend support schedule.
  • Looking for temporary work
