Position Overview
The Property Management Operations Coordinator will assist with all aspects of property management, including leasing, tenant relations, property marketing, renovation coordination, vendor management, and project oversight.
The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, comfortable juggling multiple projects, and has experience with home renovations, construction, property management, or real estate.
Responsibilities Leasing & Marketing
- Market rental properties on multiple platforms
- Create property listings and coordinate photography
- Respond to rental inquiries promptly
- Schedule and conduct property showings
- Screen prospective tenants
- Assist with lease preparation and move-in/move-out coordination
Property Management
- Serve as a point of contact for tenants
- Coordinate maintenance requests and repairs
- Communicate with owners, tenants, and vendors
- Track work orders and ensure timely completion
- Conduct periodic property inspections
Renovation & Project Coordination
- Coordinate property turnovers between tenants
- Obtain bids from contractors and vendors
- Schedule and oversee renovation projects
- Monitor project timelines and budgets
- Ensure quality control and completion of work
- Assist with planning value-add improvements to properties
Administrative & Operations Support
- Maintain accurate property records
- Track expenses, invoices, and project updates
- Help improve systems and operational efficiency
- Assist with vendor management and contractor relationships
- Support company growth initiatives as we scale our portfolio
Qualifications Required
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Highly proficient with computers and cloud-based software
- Comfortable learning and implementing new software platforms with minimal training
- Ability to quickly adapt to property management, CRM, accounting, and communication systems
Preferred
- Experience in property management, real estate, construction, or home renovations
- Experience coordinating contractors and vendors
- Familiarity with property management software
