Commercial Property Management Accountant
The Property Management Accountant provides accounting and administrative support to the Property Management team, with primary responsibility for accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoice processing, and maintaining accurate financial records for managed properties. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a commitment to serving internal teams, clients, tenants, and vendors in a professional and responsive manner.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Accounting, bookkeeping, or finance education, or equivalent relevant experience
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoice processing, and account reconciliation
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a deadline-driven environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting/property management software, including AppFolio and AvidXchange
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to problem-solve, think ahead, and anticipate needs
- Ability to establish priorities, follow through, and work independently
- Ability to work effectively with a variety of people and personalities
- Desire to continue learning and developing professionally
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
