Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and dependable Porter/Maintenance Worker to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of our facilities. Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning and janitorial tasks across various areas, including offices, hallways, restrooms, and common spaces
• Conduct routine custodial duties such as trash removal, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold hygiene standards
• Assist with floor care activities including buffing, polishing, stripping, and waxing to maintain a professional appearance
• Support facilities maintenance by performing minor repairs and reporting larger issues to appropriate teams
• Handle industrial cleaning tasks in specialized areas requiring more intensive cleaning procedures
• Assist with residential painting projects or touch-ups as needed to maintain facility aesthetics
• Maintain cleanliness of outdoor spaces and ensure all entryways are clear and safe for staff and visitors

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services in commercial or residential settings
• Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning
• Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks safely and efficiently
• Strong facilities maintenance skills including basic repairs and troubleshooting
• Experience with residential painting or touch-up work is a plus
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and supplies
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards

Pay: $21.50 - $25.00 per hour
