Job Description
- Visually and physically inspects products at various stages of the production process
- Inspects and records data per the company's standards
- Specific duties include inspecting and testing manufactured products for conformance to quality standards on time, (with emphasis on vital product characteristics) to establish a sampling plan
- Maintain work area and general plant conditions according to established practices and instruction
- Understand and follow Company’s Abnormal Stop Procedures
- Reports nonconformance to quality specifications to Team Leader
- Ability to use and understand quality measuring equipment and specifications
- Maintain a professional attitude when communicating and working with other team members or management
- Participate in the Company’s America Kaizen Program by offering improvement ideas by the established program
- Assist in training new team members as needed and/or recognized
- Comply with all attendance, safety, security, company policies, procedures, work instructions, and rules
- Performs other reasonable duties as requested by Supervisor and/or management
Requirements
- Mexican, North American, or Canadian citizenship.
- Possess Cedula Professional on hand (not in process).
The degree must bein Engineering.
- Possess Titulo Universitario and grades on hand (not in process).
The degree must be in Engineering.
- Have a valid Mexican passport with at least 1-year validity.
- No previous immigration issues.
- Have a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to move to the U.S.
- Fluency in English.
- Ability to stand up 8 hours a day.
- Able to lift up to 35 pounds (about 16 kilos).
- Hourly salary of 1 7 .00 USD. The candidate is anticipated to work around 50 hours per week. Overtime is paid by the local policies and employment law.
- Living arrangements for the first two months.
- Transportation when arriving in the U.S. for the first two months (Employee must pay gas expenses and must have a Mexican or U.S. driver’s license).
- Health insurance after working 90 days for the company.
