Speech-Language Pathologist (School-Based) | Full-Time | West of Birmingham, AL

A by G Therapy & Consulting Services is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services within a school district located west of Birmingham, Alabama. This is an excellent opportunity for clinicians who enjoy working with children and are looking for a stable school-year schedule with the option for additional summer employment.
Position Highlights
- Full-time, school-based position
- Approximately 7 hours per day, Monday–Friday

Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language evaluations and therapy services to students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Complete required documentation, progress reports, and IEP-related paperwork
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and other educational professionals
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Alabama Speech-Language Pathology license (or eligibility for licensure)
- Valid Alabama Educator Certificate/Teaching Certificate with Speech-Language Pathology endorsement
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous school-based experience
- Experience working with diverse student populations
