Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellow applicants (SLP-CFY) are also welcome
- Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings is highly desired
- Familiarity with speech/language intervention strategies for school-aged children
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, staff, and families
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language assessments, therapy, and consultative services to students
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals, maintaining thorough documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student needs and interventions
- Deliver services across various learning environments, including small groups and one-on-one treatment
- Serve as a resource for staff and families on speech and language development
