Go-Staff, Inc. is seeking a dependable and professional Class A CDL Driver for a full-time, temp-to-hire position based in the Chula Vista area. This opportunity is designed for candidates looking to transition into a long-term career with a stable and growing company. Successful employees will have the opportunity to convert to a permanent position based on performance, attendance, and business needs.

Schedule

• Full-Time
• Temp-to-Hire
• Monday – Friday
• Early morning start times as early as 2:00 AM
• Routes throughout San Diego County and Arizona

Compensation

• $25.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle on assigned delivery routes.
• Transport freight between San Diego and Arizona while maintaining delivery schedules.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Utilize GPS and navigation systems to efficiently follow assigned routes.
• Comply with all DOT regulations, company policies, and traffic laws.
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and driver logs.
• Provide professional, friendly, and courteous customer service at delivery locations.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding deliveries, delays, or route changes.
• Load, secure, and unload freight as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• Clean driving record
• Current DOT Medical Card
• Professional, clean-cut appearance
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Comfortable working early morning shifts beginning as early as 2:00 AM
• Experience using GPS and navigation systems
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to long-term employment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when required
