Position: 26-27 SY- Special Education Behavior Support Teacher
Behavior And Emotional Support Classroom
The Behavior and Emotional Support Classroom is designed to support students who exhibit intense behavioral and emotional needs, often affecting their ability to participate in a general education setting. This program is structured to provide individualized interventions and support, focusingĀ on building self-regulation skills, emotional management, and social development. It uses a trauma-informed, strength-based approach to help students feel safe and supported while working toward academic and social success.
Individualized support, routine, social-emotional learning, and targeted academic interventions form the foundation for success. A certified special education teacher with SC licensure provides core instruction and supplemental instruction for the students enrolled in this program.
