Accountant - Operating Expenses

Supporting accurate accounting and reporting of operating expenses, the full-time Accountant - Operating Expenses will manage month-end close activities, apply US GAAP capitalization criteria, and collaborate with various teams in a hybrid work environment in Denver, CO. Key Responsibilities Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations of operating expense accounts Apply US GAAP capitalization criteria to labor-related costs and support capitalized labor processes Maintain documentation for internal controls and support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting related to operating expenses Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 2-4 years of accounting experience, preferably in operating expense accounting Working knowledge of US GAAP, including capitalization and expense recognition Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Workday) Proficient Excel skills with strong analytical capabilities
