Job Overview

Part-time or full-time accepted. Temporary contract will also be considered.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team to take over care for orthopedic patients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing treatment programs for patients with physical impairments or disabilities. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

The Physical

Therapist will work in various settings including inpatient, outpatient, and pediatric environments, ensuring optimal recovery and rehabilitation for all patients.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and goals.
  • Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve mobility, strength, and overall function.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and self-care strategies.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care post-treatment.

Skills

  • Proficient in medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practices.
  • Strong knowledge of orthopedics and anatomy to effectively assess and treat conditions.
  • Experience in discharge planning to facilitate smooth transitions for patients leaving care facilities.
  • Familiarity with both inpatient and outpatient settings, including acute care environments.
  • Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
