The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of machinery, equipment, and facility systems to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations. This position plays a critical role in maintaining production equipment, building infrastructure, and mechanical and electrical systems while responding to emergency maintenance needs as they arise.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production machinery, equipment, and facility systems to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical equipment malfunctions.
Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform corrective maintenance to restore equipment and operations quickly and safely.
Install, assemble, align, level, and balance machinery and equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
Conduct inspections of equipment, machinery, and building systems to identify potential maintenance issues and recommend corrective actions.
Repair and maintain facility structures, including walls, floors, ceilings, doors, stairways, roofing, and other building components.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, motors, control panels, lighting systems, and related components while following applicable safety regulations. PLC and CNC.
Perform welding, fabrication, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance tasks as needed.
Maintain and repair HVAC, compressed air, and other utility systems to ensure proper facility operation.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and maintenance documentation .
Utilize hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and testing instruments safely and effectively.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, inspections, and equipment service logs.
Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and applicable building codes.
Assist with facility improvement projects, equipment upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain an organized and clean work environment while ensuring proper inventory of maintenance supplies and spare parts.
