NSC Skilled Trades is seeking experienced Electro-Mechanical Assembler for a project in Tucson, AZ.
JOB DETAILS:
PAY: $19/hour
HOURS: 40 hours/week
START DATE: ASAP
DURATION: 6 months +
SCOPE:
- JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Read, comprehend and follow product drawings, schematics and other graphical or written description of the proper assembly of electromechanical product.
- An Assembler is responsible for verifying whether a released document to be used is the correct revision.
- Adhere to policies of quality assurance, safety and cleanliness.
- Job tasks
- Electro-Mechanical assembly of final product and subassemblies within the guidelines of the Client's Quality system and other department policies.
- Correctly use multiple types of hand tools, soldering and test equipment to perform this assembly and related testing, as per documentation and workmanship standards.
- Compare test results with specifications and make a judgment as to acceptability of a product's performance.
- Complete records-paper and electronic-that report completion of tasks and work orders, identify nonconforming material, verify results of test or inspections, etc.
- Potentially may be required to troubleshoot discrepant material and interact with other departments to diagnose cause of problems.
- Potentially may be required to kit parts in Inventory or perform other jobs in related departments as needed and directed.
- Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Completion of Assembler Training period, or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and/or operate equipment such as oscilloscopes, soldering tools and meters.
