About The Role

We're hiring an experienced, detail-driven reviewer to provide a critical second layer of quality control on our clients' books. This is a part-time, flexible role with an opportunity to grow into a full-time role if desired— you'll receive work daily, but you control your hours. It's an ideal fit for an experienced accounting professional looking for meaningful, flexible part-time work.

What You'll Do

  • Review and evaluate financial statements prepared by our bookkeeping team
  • Create and review high-level reporting and budgets
  • Make journal entries as needed based on your review
  • Provide feedback and quality checks on day-to-day bookkeeping work
  • Work independently within a flexible, self-managed schedule
  • Communicate findings and flag issues clearly to the team

What We're Looking For

  • Accounting degree with 5+ years of professional experience
  • Prior auditing experience strongly preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, including high-level reporting and budget creation
  • Demonstrated experience evaluating financial statements and preparing journal entries
  • Comfortable working independently and meeting monthly deliverables
  • QuickBooks experience is a plus but not required — we're happy to train the right candidate

Compensation & Logistics

  • Part-time, remote position; work assigned daily
  • Compensation dependent on experience
