Tool & Die Maker / CNC Programmer Details:
- Direct hire position
- $20.00 to $24.00 / hour
- First shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 02:00pm)
- Build, repair, and modify molds, fixtures, gauges, and tooling to support production needs.
- Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes, including improving existing programs for efficiency.
- Interpret blueprints, engineering plans, and work orders to plan and execute machining processes.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure tight tolerance and quality standards.
- Collaborate with operators and team members to troubleshoot issues and maintain efficient workflow.
Tool & Die Maker / CNC Programmer Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 3–5 years of tool & die, toolmaking, or machinist experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience programming, setting up, and operating CNC equipment (Mastercam preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical documents.
- Proficiency using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges) and strong math/mechanical skills.
