- Evaluate results for reliability, rectify discrepancies, and perform regular maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
- Assist with specimen gathering, and prepare samples for analysis as necessary.
- Record all procedures meticulously, mentor new colleagues or trainees, and help uphold laboratory's quality standards.
- Ensure a clean, secure workspace while complying with regulatory and accreditation standards.
Educational Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree along with ASCP/AMT certification eligibility.
Required Certifications• ASCP or AMT Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) certification to be obtained within one year of hire.
- Must maintain current certification throughout your employment.
