Credit Controller

Remote Recruitment is hiring a Credit Controller for our UK-based clients. This is a fully remote position offering South African professionals an excellent opportunity to work with leading UK employers from home. You will work UK business hours and join a supportive, fast-growing team.

Key Responsibilities

Proactively chase overdue invoices and outstanding balances via telephone and email

Allocate and reconcile cash receipts against customer accounts accurately

Negotiate payment plans and settlement agreements with customers in arrears

Produce and distribute weekly aged debt reports to senior management

Monitor credit limits and recommend credit holds where appropriate

Build positive relationships with customers while maintaining firm credit control

Requirements

2+ years of credit control or accounts receivable experience

Confident and persistent negotiator with excellent communication skills

Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel for reconciliations

Results-focused with a track record of reducing debtor days

Ability to work independently and manage a large ledger from home
