Job description:

Mt. Spokane Dental is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team 4 days per week. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our dentist in various procedures. Your contributions will help us continue providing the high-quality care our patients expect.

Hours are:

• Monday 7:00am – 4:00pm
• Tuesday 7:00am – 4:00pm
• Wednesday 7:00am – 4:00pm
• Thursday 7:00am – 4:00pm

What We Offer

• $22-$25/ hour, depending on experience

What You'll Do

• Assist dentists during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry.
• Prepare, sterilize, and organize instruments and operatories.
• Take diagnostic X-rays.
• Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols.
• Assist with patient flow and scheduling as needed.
• Support the front desk with administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification as a Dental Assistant (preferred)
• Proficiency in EMR systems, particularly Eaglesoft
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
• Experience with chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
