Financial Accountant III

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $90,000 to $120,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts for multiple business entities.
• Prepare journal entries and assist with monthly and annual closing activities.
• Support audits, tax compliance projects, and inventory reviews.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements along with supporting schedules and disclosures.
• Manage special initiatives such as ERP upgrades and system implementations.

Requirements:

• At least 7+ years of experience in cost and financial accounting within manufacturing or defense-related industries.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP principles; familiarity with FAR regulations.
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills for working across teams.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• In-depth understanding of technical accounting standards, including revenue recognition and lease accounting.
• Ability to manage foreign currency transactions and intercompany reconciliations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and deliver accurate results under deadlines.
