At Lyft, our purpose is to serve and connect. We aim to achieve this by cultivating a work environment where all team members belong and have the opportunity to thrive.

Lyft's Healthcare Community Access team is changing the way state Medicaid agencies, transportation brokers, and transit authorities think about non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) and paratransit. We work with the largest NEMT brokers, state and federal healthcare agencies, and transit authorities in the country to improve access to care and essential services for the riders who need it most. Our work is fast-paced, cross-functional, and high-impact — and we are looking for passionate, hard-working, and customer-focused team members who want to tackle real transportation challenges and make a difference for the people who rely on these services most.

As an Account Manager on Lyft's Healthcare Community Access team, you're responsible for managing and growing a book of healthcare and transit partnerships. You'll develop trusted relationships with your partners, become a Lyft product expert, and learn to identify and prioritize the highest-impact opportunities across your accounts. You'll join a talented team focused on one thing: using technology and Lyft's network of drivers to improve transportation for patients, members, and transit riders.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary relationship owner for a portfolio of healthcare and transit partners, including NEMT brokers, transportation management companies, healthcare API partners, and transit agencies

Build trusted relationships with key decision makers and operational contacts across your accounts, with a focus on identifying the right stakeholders to drive growth

Execute against strategies to achieve quarter-over-quarter growth quotas, applying critical thinking to prioritize accounts and opportunities with the highest return

Conduct regular business reviews with partners, presenting performance data, insights, and recommendations

Develop a strong working knowledge of Lyft's product suite — including web-based products and API integrations — to effectively match solutions to partner needs

Actively participate in cross-functional workstreams with Product, Engineering, Compliance, Legal, and Public Policy, bringing partner feedback and perspective to the table

Lead effective sales meetings with clear goals and defined next steps, qualifying opportunities with strong discovery and follow-through

Represent Lyft at healthcare, NEMT, and transit industry events and tradeshows

Assist with RFPs

Experience:

3+ years of successful sales, business development, or account management experience, with a proven track record of growing accounts and hitting quota

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills — able to communicate clearly and adapt your message depending on the audience and situation

High levels of sales persistence, work ethic, and creativity; comfortable running discovery conversations, qualifying opportunities, and following through to close

Strong analytical curiosity — comfortable using data to understand account performance, identify trends, and surface opportunities

Ability to understand and absorb new information quickly, particularly in complex or technical product environments

Comfortable with change and ambiguity in a fast-moving environment; able to problem-solve and prioritize with limited direction

Team-oriented mindset and the ability to work effectively across a wide range of individuals and functions

Non-emergency medical transportation, paratransit, healthcare partnerships, or transit/transportation industry experience preferred

Bachelor's degree required
