Spirit Homecare & Hospice is seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide high-quality home health care services across West Chester Township, Cincinnati, and surrounding areas.

This is a PRN, per-visit position offering maximum flexibility and field-based work, ideal for clinicians looking to supplement their current schedule or build a consistent caseload with a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT).
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and mobility training.
• Support patient improvement in strength, balance, and functional independence.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs (HEP) and safety.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation using the Axxess platform.
• Maintain regular communication regarding patient progress with the supervising PT.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license (Required).
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
• Experience in home health, skilled nursing (SNF), or outpatient settings preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage a field-based schedule.

Schedule & Work Environment

• Type: PRN (Per-Visit).
• Flexibility: Choose your own hours; accept visits based on your personal bandwidth.
• Setting: Care provided directly in patient homes.
• Physical Requirements: Position requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting as part of patient care.
