Corporate Accountant

Our client, a growing financial services firm based in Charleston, SC, is seeking a full-time Corporate Accountant to join their team. This is a newly created position driven by growth and will report directly to senior leadership. This role offers hands-on exposure across the full accounting function, including full P&L visibility.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist with month-end close and support the full accounting cycle
• Support general ledger activity, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Gain exposure to both corporate and operational accounting processes
• Partner with leadership to support financial analysis and business initiatives
• Contribute to process improvements and help build out scalable accounting practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• 1–3 years of accounting experience (straight out of public ok!)
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to take on responsibility
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, growing environment
• Strong Excel skills and overall systems proficiency
