We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Assistant Commercial Property Manager to support the day-to-day operations of a growing commercial property portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative and communication skills, be comfortable working with financial reporting and tenant documentation, and have the ability to learn property management software quickly.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and distribute monthly owner statements
- Process and track property-related bills and expenses
- Manage tenant renewals, new leases, lease amendments, and move-outs
- Invoice select tenants monthly for utility reimbursements and related expenses
- Audit owner property insurance records to ensure current policies are maintained
- Assist with CAM reconciliations and related reporting
- Maintain organized property and tenant records
- Support additional administrative and operational tasks as needed
- Communicate professionally with tenants, vendors, owners, and internal staff
Qualifications
- Previous commercial property management or administrative experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Comfortable learning and utilizing property management software systems
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills
- Experience with lease administration and tenant relations
- Basic accounting or bookkeeping knowledge
- Familiarity with CAM reconciliations and commercial lease terminology
