Make a meaningful impact in the lives of middle and high school students by bringing your expertise as a certified Speech-Language Pathologist to a dynamic educational environment. This is a full-time, school-based contract opportunity serving one school site, with a caseload ranging from 45-55 students. The assignment runs from late July 2026 through the end of May 2027. On-site presence is required to support students' communication growth and academic success.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GA PSC) certification (new requirement)
  • Current state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA; SLPAs will not be considered
  • Previous experience in a school setting, especially with middle and/or high school populations, is highly preferred
  • Able to successfully complete time-sensitive credentialing requirements, including fingerprinting and drug screening
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary educational team

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language pathology services for a diverse caseload
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to inform intervention and progress monitoring
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to maximize student success
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and state policies
