Key Responsibilities

Review, assess, and moderate user-generated content on a major social media platform, ensuring full compliance with community standards, platform policies, and legal requirements for German-speaking markets.

Identify and action policy-violating content including misinformation, hate speech, graphic material, harassment, and fraud across social media channels.

Investigate complex trust and safety cases, escalating high-risk or sensitive issues to the appropriate internal teams in a timely and accurate manner.

Provide clear, consistent, and policy-aligned decisions regarding content removal, user warnings, account restrictions, and bans on the social media platform.

Monitor emerging trends, coordinated inauthentic behaviour, and potential threats within the German-language social media ecosystem, providing actionable insights to the team.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, policy, and engineering to continuously improve trust and safety processes and workflows.

Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of cases reviewed, decisions made, and actions taken in line with platform operational requirements.

Participate in regular calibration sessions, team briefings, and ongoing training to stay aligned with evolving community guidelines and best practices in digital trust and safety.
