Overview

We are known for our leading surgical services, state-of-the-art, minimally-invasive procedures and robotics. You’ll work in partnership and learn from exceptional physicians and nurses who value your skills and share a passion for innovation and outcome excellence. A surgical tech or SPD role is a position to harness knowledge, support and potential surrounding you.

As a Surgical Tech/Scrub Tech You Will Work under the supervision of the surgeon and RN.

Assist the surgical team during operative procedures by arranging and inventorying sterile setup of instruments, equipment and supplies, and passing items to surgeons and nurses as needed.

Assist in preparing and moving patients and sterilizing and cleaning instruments, equipment and rooms.

Previous OR experience required – 1 year minimum.

Day To Day Duties Scrub on all cases.

Primarily, GEN, Urology, Ortho (Totals/ Trauma), Spine, Neuro, Plastics, Oncology, Robotics (DaVinci XI) and Trauma.

Penrose specializes in Heart, Vascular surgeries with dedicated service teams for hearts and Vascular only.

Associates are cross trained for all other services.

Giving breaks and/or providing additional supplies and sterile instruments as needed during operations.
