About the position
As a Security Officer Site Patrol in North Little Rock, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the site. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service at a dynamic technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting security-related issues to the appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials as required, and support visitor, employee, and/or contractor access procedures in accordance with site expectations.
- Communicate with site personnel, guests, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related matters, alarms, maintenance concerns, and/or potential policy violations.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice-to-haves
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
