Account Manager / Outside Sales Representative

Account Manager – Lexington, KY

Overview:

Working as a Full-Time Account Manager, you will identify new market opportunities and leverage our manufacturers' products and technology to drive sales and grow our existing business.

Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Managing assigned clients and contacts
• Seeking and developing new business partnerships
• Expanding market share and profitability of current business partnerships
• Collaborating with regional sales teams and BWA South leadership on customer-specific strategies
• Facilitating and organizing customer events and entertainment
• Reporting market information regularly to sales teams and manufacturers
• Utilizing CRM system for data-driven decision making and transparency
• Engaging in ongoing training to remain up to date with products and market trends
• Quoting, order entry, phone assistance, and negotiating projects with wholesalers and contractors
• Commuting once a week to our Louisville office to meet with the regional Director of Sales

Position Qualifications:

The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:

• Possess a current full valid driver’s license
• A minimum of 2 years in B2B sales
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly motivated, self-directed, and customer service oriented
• Strong problem solving and decision making skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel 50%+ with periodic overnight stays
• Background knowledge in construction or plumbing is preferred

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
