Accountant / Controller PT

Our client is InSearch for a hands-on Accountant / Controller to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in finance and accounting. The Controller will work closely with the owner of this Omaha based $10-$20 million company as you play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information. 30 hours per week and flexible on schedule!

Responsibilities

• Input journal entries
• Prepare financial statements
• Monthly bank reconciliations
• Process payroll
• Reconcile accounts receivable and payable
• Record monthly depreciation, tax, and specialty accruals.
• Process monthly payroll deposits to various taxing authorities
• Prepare and file quarterly payroll reports.
• Prepare and file annual payroll reports including all 1099s and W-2s.
• Prepare and file monthly, quarterly and annual sale/use tax returns.
• Financial analysis - special project reporting

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of financial roll-up experience required
• Experience in construction or manufacturing preferred
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
