Caregiver Role Overview

Koger Home Care, LLC. seeks PCAs and CNAs (Caregivers) in the Midlands, SC, and the surrounding area. We are looking for a caregiver who is well‑versed in personal care, comfortable working with pets in the home, and able to provide participants with verbal cues when completing tasks. The caregiver will perform ADL assistance in areas such as showering, bed baths, dressing, mouth care, grooming, medication reminders, incontinence care, and standby assistance.

Additional duties include light housekeeping, companion service, meal preparation, picking up prescriptions, and other support tasks.

Availability

Caregivers must have open availability.

• Open Availability: 7 AM – 7 PM (West Columbia/Cayce/Lexington, SC Area)
• Open Availability: 7 AM – 7 PM (Columbia, SC)
• Open Availability: 7 AM – 7 PM (Garners Ferry/Hopkins)

Availability requirement:

The candidate is expected to work 2 weekends per month.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of 2–5 years of verifiable professional caregiver experience
• Successful completion of a 10‑year SC SLED Background Check and Drug Screening
• Negative PPD test
• Valid SC Driver’s License, auto insurance, and personal vehicle (for PCA candidates)
• Ability to work with pets in the home
