Heavy Equipment Operator – Lead Operator: Accepting application for full time heavy equipment operator for a local Pittsburgh Excavation contractor. Candidate should have complete knowledge of commercial site work & excavation including but not limited to Sanitary sewer – both mains and laterals, ( pipe lasers, grade calculations, inverts, manholes, vac testing.), Waterline- both mains and laterals ( Ductile iron, C900, valves & curb stops, CTS, copper, flared unions, mega-lugs, hydrants, hydro testing), Storm sewer – both mains and laterals ( all pipe sizes, manholes & catch basins, grade calculations, underground detention tanks, open ponds, outlet control structures & related) Understanding of pipe bedding, backfill and compaction. Experience with dirt work a plus but not necessary. Work area in Allegheny County, Butler County, Westmorland County and Beaver County. Candidate should be able to pass a drug test, have a valid PA driver’s license, reliable transportation for year round work.
