Job Description for Part Time Warehouse Sorter:

At Aramark, Warehouse Workers play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of products within the facility. Your key duties consist of supporting warehouse operations, overseeing inventory control, preparing orders, and maintaining a clean and secure work environment.

Qualifications for Part Time Warehouse Sorter:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Minimum of two years of warehouse experience preferred
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and basic arithmetic
• Basic computer literacy
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manipulate equipment with manual dexterity
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and regularly handle loads up to 35 lbs
• Valid driver’s license may be required depending on location; MVR check will be conducted

Physical Demands for Part Time Warehouse Sorter:

• Extended periods of standing and walking
• Frequent lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling
• Adherence to uniform and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements

Job Responsibilities for Part Time Warehouse Sorter:

• Receive, verify, and label incoming merchandise; report discrepancies between deliveries and invoices
• Maintain proper rotation of products using the FIFO method for perishable goods
• Operate manual or electric pallet jacks and forklifts after training, if needed
• Pick and organize inventory to fulfill orders for products, supplies, and equipment
• Load, unload, and transport items within the warehouse or to client sites using carts or motorized equipment
• Perform scheduled inventory counts and audits
• Maintain accurate records including inventory logs, temperature checks, spoilage reporting, and equipment inspections
• Keep warehouse areas clean and organized, including restrooms, break rooms, loading docks, and elevated platforms
• Follow all safety policies, OSHA regulations, SDS guidelines, and emergency procedures
• Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment at all times
• Protect client and company property
• Maintain professionalism when interacting with clients, coworkers, vendors, and visitors
• Attend meetings and perform other duties as assigned
