Role and Responsibilities:

As a Stocker, you will be responsible for maintaining fully stocked and well-organized displays, assisting in inventory control, and supporting overall store operations. You will play an important role in promoting Lowe's core values while ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient store environment.

  • Keep refrigerated coolers, store shelves, and other displays stocked and faced according to tag allocation or department standards.
  • Follow company procedures for price marking and restocking to ensure product rotation and protection of product quality.
  • Open cartons carefully to avoid product damage and handle damaged, spoiled, or outdated products per company policy.
  • Assist with inventory control, including reporting invoice errors and product shortages.
  • Participate in the training and development of stocking team members.
  • Unload trucks, break down loads, and stock products efficiently.
  • Build and assist with store displays to maximize sales and product visibility.
  • Communicate with store management to provide operational feedback.
  • Maintain compliance with inventory controls to minimize overstock and out-of-stock issues.
  • Rotate perishable goods and maintain general sanitation in sales and storage areas.
  • Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping floors and responding to spills.
  • Report any equipment or maintenance issues to store management.
  • Engage with customers and remain highly visible on the sales floor.
  • Follow all company policies, programs, and safety procedures.
  • Support teammates in identifying and solving operational inefficiencies.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills and basic math ability.
  • Organized and able to work efficiently in a team environment.
  • Pallet jack certification required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in stocking or inventory roles.
  • Familiarity with store display practices and merchandising standards.
