Part Time Senior Caregiver – Rochester, NY

A family in Rochester, NY 14618 is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced caregiver to provide support for their 86-year-old loved one beginning in July. The ideal candidate will be patient, flexible, and comfortable adapting as care needs evolve over time.

Schedule:

Tuesday and Thursday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Every other weekend; Weekend hours are flexible and negotiable

Responsibilities:

Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene

Provide toileting support

Prepare meals and assist with kitchen-related tasks

Provide medication reminders and supervision as directed

Perform light housekeeping, including laundry

Offer companionship, engagement, and emotional support

Help maintain daily routines and structure

Monitor safety and provide supervision related to cognitive decline

Observe and communicate any changes in condition or behavior

Requirements:

Prior experience working with elderly clients and assisting with ADLs

Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment

Reliable transportation and punctual attendance

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including assisting with mobility and personal care tasks

Compensation:

$28–$31 per hour (commensurate with experience)
