Equine Sports Medicine & Surgery (ESMS) is seeking an experienced Front Desk Receptionist to join our team in Weatherford, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with prior experience in an equine veterinary practice or other high-volume medical/veterinary environment who thrives in a fast-paced setting and is committed to delivering exceptional client service.

As the first point of contact for our clients, you'll serve as both a Front Desk Receptionist, creating a welcoming, professional experience while coordinating communication between horse owners, trainers, referring veterinarians, and our clinical team. Your ability to stay organized, communicate effectively, and manage multiple priorities will directly contribute to the exceptional level of care our hospital is known for

🌟 What You'll Do

🐎 Welcome clients with warmth, professionalism, and exceptional customer service.

📞 Coordinate appointments and communicate with horse owners, trainers, veterinarians, and our clinical team.

💻 Manage patient records, billing, and data entry with accuracy and attention to detail.

💳 Discuss invoices, collect deposits, and help clients navigate financial arrangements with confidence and compassion.

📊 Utilize Microsoft Office and veterinary practice management software to keep our front office running efficiently.

🤝 Serve as both our Front Desk Receptionist and potentially a Patient & Client Liaison, working closely with horse owners, trainers, referring veterinarians, and our medical team to ensure an exceptional client experience from the first phone call through discharge.

✅ We're Looking for Someone Who...

✔ Has experience working in an equine veterinary practice (required)

✔ Loves providing outstanding customer service

✔ Is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a busy environment

✔ Is proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

✔ Is comfortable discussing invoices, collecting deposits, and communicating financial information with clients over the phone

⭐ Bonus Points If You Have...

• Experience with HVMS (Hospital Veterinary Management System)
• Veterinary billing or collections experience
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
