Job Title: School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT)

Location: Riverside, CA Area

Position Overview:

BlazerJobs is seeking a highly skilled and flexible Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time, school-based opportunity in the Riverside, CA area. This itinerant role supports a diverse student population with mild to severe, multiple disabilities and requires strong clinical judgment, assessment expertise, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic caseload.

Assignment Details:

Schedule: Full-Time (FT) / Full School Year (FSY)

Setting: School-based, itinerant (multiple sites)

Caseload: Mild to severe, multiple disabilities; caseload will fluctuate based on district needs with no set cap on students requiring assessments or consultations

Travel: Required between sites throughout the week (mileage not reimbursed)

Scheduling: Candidate will have flexibility to create their own schedule based on district needs

Compensation:

Pay Range: $50–$60 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Responsibilities:

Administer and interpret standardized assessments, including the BOT-3 and Peabody, for students ages 3–22

Provide occupational therapy evaluations, consultations, and services aligned with IEP goals

Utilize data-driven decision-making to address parent concerns and support service recommendations

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families

Maintain accurate and compliant documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines

Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy

Active California OT license (or ability to obtain prior to start)

Experience administering BOT-3 and Peabody assessments required

Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to interpret and present data effectively

Previous school-based experience, particularly with diverse and high-needs populations, preferred
