Construction Accounts Payable/Payroll Specialist

Fast Paced Construction Company looking for an Accounts Payable/Payroll Specialist to perform weekly AP and Payroll responsibilities.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES are Accounts Payable/Payroll Functions.

• Perform weekly AP and Payroll functions.
• Work with Project managers approval of project expenses and timesheet approvals.
• Provide P/L Reports to project managers.
• Responsible for accurate and timely timesheet and invoice entry.
• Field calls from subcontractors and vendors.
• Submit Pre-qualifications to customers/vendors.
• Maintain Company Licensing and Certifications
• Create Certified Payroll for the Company and Manage Certified Payroll from Subcontractors
• General Filing
• Administer E-Verify for new hires.
• Should be able to learn and adapt to various billing software.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Prior Accounting Experience Necessary. Must be proficient with QuickBooks, Strong Excel Skills are required, experience with AIA/SOV documentation, lien releases are a plus.
