Role Summary

We are in search of a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to enrich our passionate imaging team, dedicated to delivering outstanding care. In this role, you will employ advanced ultrasound technology to conduct a variety of diagnostic exams, collaborate closely with a vibrant circle of clinicians, and assure clarity and peace for patients through prompt and accurate imaging.

Responsibilities Overview

• Courageously perform diverse ultrasound examinations like abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, guiding them through each examination with empathy and assurance
• Work hand-in-hand with radiologists and referring providers to assure the highest quality of diagnostic images
• Efficiently operate and maintain imaging equipment and report any malfunctions without delay
• Meticulously document procedures and keep patient records updated in the electronic medical system
• Keep abreast of the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques, ensuring best practices are followed

Required Education • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline

• Preference for completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Necessary Certifications • Active certification with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent credential

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
