Job Summary:

Assist in surgical procedures within the CVOR unit as a certified Surgical Technologist, supporting the surgical team with instrument management and sterile techniques to ensure efficient patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms by sterilizing instruments and arranging necessary supplies.
• Assist surgical team during procedures by handing instruments and maintaining sterile field.
• Ensure accurate documentation of surgical procedures and equipment usage.
• Maintain strict adherence to sterile techniques and safety protocols.
• Support patient positioning and transfer activities as directed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate smooth surgical workflows.

Qualifications:

• Current Surg-Tech certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a CVOR or surgical setting.
• Proficiency in handling CVOR equipment and supplies.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in fast-paced environments.
• Knowledge of Meditech documentation system preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
