About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Architect Project Manager to lead multifamily architectural projects from concept through construction. This leadership role is responsible for managing client relationships, overseeing project teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget, and maintaining the highest standards of design quality and client satisfaction.
The ideal candidate is a licensed Architect with extensive project management experience, strong leadership abilities, and a proven track record of successfully delivering multifamily residential projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multifamily architectural projects from schematic design through construction administration.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, profitability, and invoicing.
- Lead and mentor project teams, providing guidance and supporting professional development.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, engineers, and internal project teams.
- Review project documentation to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with project requirements.
- Participate in business development activities, including proposals, interviews, and client presentations.
- Monitor project performance and proactively resolve project challenges.
- Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and meet quality expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Professional Architect License required.
- Minimum 10 years of experience managing multifamily architectural projects.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects from design through construction.
- Strong knowledge of project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and financial management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and client relationship management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- California Architect License preferred.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams.
- Strong presentation and client-facing communication skills.
- Proven success delivering profitable architectural projects.
- Experience mentoring and developing architectural staff.
