Role Overview:

Apex is seeking a Mid level industrial hygienist (IH) ready to travel throughout the United States to provide overarching occupational health and safety expertise to a portfolio of national clients in the aerospace, warehousing, manufacturing, and distribution industries. We have multi-decade relationships with our clients and work with them hand-in-hand to help them achieve their occupational health and safety, ergonomic, and safety engineering goals. This position entails supporting routine ongoing work and negotiation with numerous customer stakeholders, all of whom need to be satisfied with respect to project purpose, scope, and tactics.

This role will provide onsite and remote IH support on a periodic basis depending on client need. The location and duration of projects are subject to change based on the client’s request. This role will also act as an advisor to clients on occupational safety and health issues.

As part of working with this portfolio of clients, this role will provide input to Apex’s client relationship managers and business development staff on potential new EHS support projects. This role will participate in business development activities as directed.
