TEAM OVERVIEW
KKR’s Human Capital Business Partner team is a strategic and trusted advisor to leaders across the firm. The team drives people and organizational initiatives across the full employee lifecycle — from talent acquisition and development to performance, engagement, and retention. Business Partners provide coaching, counsel, and guidance to managers, helping to navigate complex people matters and enable teams to perform at their best.
Working closely with partners across our Centers of Excellence (Compensation, Talent Development, Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, and HC Operations), the team ensures alignment with firm-wide policies, workforce planning, and inclusion objectives. The Business Partners team operates in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities while maintaining a strong focus on partnership, execution, and impact.
POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a Human Capital Business Partner in NY who will work with Senior Business Partners covering the firm’s investing and distribution businesses. The role will provide support to day-to-day Human Capital operations and partner closely across the Human Capital Business Partner team. While the role will primarily focus on supporting US employees, given the global matrix structure in which we operate, there will also be a need to coordinate with HC colleagues in Europe and Asia.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist Human Capital Business Partners with day-to-day operational and administrative needs, which may include:
Prepare, draft, and process offer letters, employment agreements and related documentation
Coordinate with external immigration counsel on visa-related matters (H-1B, OPT, transfers, extensions, etc.)
Track immigration cases, timelines, and required documentation; liaise with internal stakeholders as needed
Manage headcount reporting/tracking with Comp and FPA teams on monthly headcount reporting, including managing open roles and other key processes
Maintain accurate employee records in HR systems and shared trackers
Support key year-end processes, including compensation, promotions, talent reviews and performance management
Liaise with other departments within and outside of Human Capital (i.e., Compensation, Benefits, DE I and Talent Development, Talent Acquisition and Legal) as necessary to resolve issues.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable employment regulations
Support ad hoc Human Capital projects as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or a related field
3 - 5 years of Human Resources experience preferred, ideally in a professional services, financial services, or technology-driven organization
Clear intellectual curiosity with the drive and potential to succeed in a fast-paced work environment, having shown comfort with the ambiguity of an evolving, dynamic firm
Strong execution and project management skills – highly organized, very detail oriented, proactive problem-solver, solutions-oriented, and a knack for anticipating obstacles and addressing issues early
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Advanced knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Proficiency with HRIS (Workday) preferred

This is the expected annual base salary range for this New York-based position. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.
Base Salary Range
$100,000 $130,000 USD
