Welder - MIG

Overview

Our head welder is moving on in a few weeks, so we’re looking for an experienced, motivated, fast learning welder and fabricator who can take over that position within a short period of time. We need someone with excellent mig welding skills who can also cut and drill material to specs and has a high level of attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on mild steel plate, pipe, and tubing
• Be able to fabricate things accurately based on measurements and specifications
• Use hand tools, power tools
• Operate band saw, drill press, mag drill
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment
• Work efficiently and fast enough to meet deadlines
• Inspect completed products to check for mistakes and missing welds
• Work with less experienced welders to train them and motivate them
• Operate a Forklift (certification NOT required)
• Load and unload material, supplies, and completed products

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
