Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Construction Worker role based in California. The Construction Worker will assist with rough carpentry tasks, including framing, installing structural components, and preparing work areas. Day-to-day responsibilities may include working with masonry, flooring, and renovation projects; operating hand and power tools; loading and unloading materials; and maintaining a clean, safe job site. The role involves following project plans and directions from supervisors, collaborating with other crew members, and adhering to safety regulations and company standards. Candidates will be expected to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Qualifications

  • Construction and Renovation skills, with experience in general building tasks and project support.
  • Masonry skills, including basic brick, block, or stone work and repair.
  • Flooring skills for installation, repair, or finishing of various floor types.
  • Research skills to interpret plans, specifications, and instructions and to identify appropriate methods and materials.
  • Knowledge of hand and power tools, equipment operation, and basic measurements.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and ability to follow OSHA and company safety guidelines.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and reliability, with the ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy materials and working at heights when required.
  • Previous construction or carpentry experience preferred; relevant certifications or training are a plus.
