What You'll Do

As the Project Accountant, you'll provide accounting and administrative support for active construction projects by:

• Processing material and subcontractor invoices accurately and efficiently
• Reviewing subcontractor pay applications and contract documentation
• Managing lien waivers and ensuring proper compliance documentation
• Tracking subcontractor insurance renewals
• Requesting and maintaining W-9s for new vendors
• Collecting and processing Certified Payrolls when required
• Processing payroll for hourly employees
• Assisting with onboarding and personnel action forms (PAFs)
• Supporting project billing, reconciliations, and job cost corrections
• Maintaining subcontractor files and project documentation
• Managing incoming mail and office supply inventory
• Coordinating computer equipment records and transfers
• Assisting with OSHA documentation and safety records

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of construction accounting experience
• Experience supporting construction projects through accounting and financial administration
• Mission-critical construction experience is highly preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with project teams

Location:

Hybrid Position

You'll split your time between:

• Tulsa, OK
• Stillwater, OK (approximately 3 days per week)

Travel support includes mileage reimbursement, travel stipend, and meal per diem.
